About
Hi there — I’m Jillian, a city girl turned farmer’s other half, therapist, and writer behind Groundwork. I’m a mama of three amazing young adults who are grown & flown. I spend my time with clients navigating their own journeys, I can be found in a tractor in the field or even wrangling cattle, and writing here about struggle, growth, and real life.
I hold a deep belief that healing doesn’t always come in big moments — often, it’s found in the small, daily choice to keep showing up.
Progress in therapy doesn’t always look like a breakthrough, it’s often found in the slow, intentional steps we take to live better, love deeper, and show up more honestly.
For your people. For your purpose. And most importantly, for yourself.
Whether you live on a rural back road or in the middle of a city, if you’re drawn to honest conversation about mental health, motherhood, relationship realities, identity, and showing up for your life — you belong here in these conversations.

/ Individuals
Individual therapy provides a supportive, confidential space to explore your experiences, emotions, and patterns. Together, we work to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, focused on helping you feel more grounded, connected, and intentional in your life.
/ Couples
Couples therapy creates space for honest conversations about the dynamics of your relationship. It’s a place to slow things down, understand recurring conflicts, and learn new ways to support one another. In our work together, we focus on strengthening communication, rebuilding connection, and helping partners move forward with greater clarity and mutual respect.
/ Family
Family therapy helps family members work through conflict, change, or disconnection by looking at how each person’s experiences affect the whole system. It offers a place to reset expectations, strengthen understanding, and develop more supportive ways of interacting. The goal is to help families feel more balanced, heard, and connected over time.
/ Accelerated Resolution Therapy®
Accelerated Resolution Therapy® (ART) is a brief, structured psychotherapy that helps people resolve distressing memories and symptoms by reprocessing how those memories are stored in the brain; often in as little as one session. ART integrates eye-movement techniques with image rescripting to reduce emotional and physiological reactivity while clients stay in control throughout the process. Through ART, clients are able to erase negative images associated with memories, resulting in the elimination of corresponding triggers while preserving the factual memory.
